Thanks for reading this story, and don’t worry my memory is fine. Since I just recently wrote about developing the StarLAN driver for AT&T’s Unix PC in 1988, I certainly didn’t forget that preemptive multitasking existed on personal computers before 1992. While the technologies listed were only new to their respective platforms, they still qualify as innovations. At least, according to my reading of the dictionary.
