M1 MacBook Air Vs Framework Laptop

What makes for a great, environmentally friendly laptop?

A recent article on Tom’s Guide proclaims the debut of the Framework laptop as the most exciting thing to happen in the world of laptops over the last year. The article then refers to the Framework as the “anti-MacBook”, which to my mind begged the question: Which is the better and more environmentally friendly laptop, the Framework or the M1 MacBook Air?

The Tom’s Guide article focuses on the Framework’s customizable and repairable design as a key advantage. Regarding those features, here’s a small sample of quotes from the Framework knowledgebase:
